Two fresh faces who will be joining us live on our upcoming tours.
On Bass: Dave Pajo
Pajo has a vast body of work. He was the guitarist for Slint. He has recorded as Papa M and Ariel M. And he has worked with Tortoise, Will Oldham, Zwan, and numerous other artists. So, you know….do the math.
On Keys and Vox: Brandon Curtis
Curtis is a member of the Secret Machines. Enough said.
We are very excited and honored to be working with such talented individuals.

“Experimental dream-pop group School Of Seven Bells is set to release its sophomore album, Disconnect…”
“Experimental dream-pop group School Of Seven Bells is set to release its sophomore album, Disconnect From Desire, on July 13 via Vagrant/Ghostly International. A follow-up to 2008’s Alpinisms,
the new album creates an intimate ambiance for the band’s elaborate,
multi-layered sound. Featuring identical twins Alejandra and Claudia
Deheza (formerly of On!Air!Library!) and Benjamin Curtis (formerly of
Secret Machines), the band began to tour more frequently last year,
translating the momentum from its audience into the recording process.
“A huge part of the record was conceived during the whirlwind of live
shows and traveling we experienced this past year,” Alejandra tells
CMJ. “It was a great deal of the energy behind the sounds on this
record, I feel. The way our lives were changing through this process,
the way the chaos transformed into stillness after touring—all of this
was in the recording process.””

Released on July 12 in the UK and July 13 in the US, the LP is the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Alpinisms’.
“I’m not nervous at all [about the new album] – I just really wanna move ahead with all these new songs,” singer and guitarist Alejandra Deheza told NME.COM back in November.”
